    Attitude of Gratitude

Well, the end of 2012 was a bust for me. I had a cold which got better quickly and then ended up with bronchitis. All holiday travels plans came to a screeching halt.

Nonetheless, time heals with lots of rest and healthy food. I am eternally grateful to live in a country like Canada where I have access to good health care.

Overall, 2012 was an awesome year and I am so thankful for all of the work that especially local work which there seemed to be an abundance of.
Each and every day, I make it my intention to be mindful and thankful for all that I have. When I say that, I do not mean only material possessions but the love of my family, work that I am blessed to be able to do, good friends and a full belly each and every day.

Try counting your blessings. Jot them down. At least stop and think of as many things as you can that you’re thankful for right now. Give it a shot. If you want to feel happy, try on an attitude of gratitude for a change in your mood, your outlook and you.
