The creation process, for me, brings into consciousness, a deep reverence that I have for life. Working in clay inspires me to truly acknowledge the depth of the human spirit and soul.
This wondrous material encourages me to combine art and function as well as search my mind, body and soul to enable me to express my values and beliefs as an individual on a conscious level.

Our external world, in many ways prevents us from questioning our everyday surroundings as well as admiring our natural environment in all of its awe and beauty. Thus, clay compels me to fuse both the artificial with the genuine as a way of enriching my understanding of life in all of its multifaceted layers.
