Some tiles have impressions created from using pressed dried leaves, herbs or flowers - others are made with slip cast porcelain with many layers of glazes. Tiles are suitable for hanging or using a trivet for hot items. All tiles from Janson Pottery are created by hand from soft clay and are made from porcelain which is very durable. All glazes are non-toxic. I hope that you enjoy using it as much as I have enjoyed making it!
